A Perfect Circle

If anyone out there hasn't heard A Perfect Circle's - Judith then I thoroughly recommend it to you. Here are the lyrics and a link to the video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=23eZMdixAuk

You're such an inspiration for ways
That i will never ever choose to be.
Oh so many ways for me to show you
How your savior has abandoned you.

Thank(fuck) your god.
Your lord, your christ
He did this,
Took all you had
And left you this way.
Still you pray, never stray,
Never taste of the fruit.
Never thought to question why.

It's not like you killed someone.
It's not like you drove a hateful spear into his side.
Praise the one who left you
Broken down and paralyzed.
He did it all for you.
He did it all for you.

Oh so many ways for me to show you
How your dogma has abandoned you.
Pray to your christ, to your god.
Never taste of the fruit,
Never stray, never break,
Never choke on a lie,
Even though he's the one who did this to you
Never thought to question why.

It's not like you killed someone.
It's not like you drove a spiteful spear into his side.
Talk to jesus christ as if he knows the reasons why
He did this all to you.

He did it all for you.
He did it all for you.

That is definitely one of my all time favourite rock songs, shame about the much lower quality of their other work though).
If you like stuff that really rocks like that you should hear One Minute Silence's "Holy Man". Here are the lyrics:

I could be wrong here
I could be right
I could be the Son of God
Selling you a little life
But you wouldn't see me
You wouldn't hear me
Why you and not me?
Tell me Holy Man

Is that supposed to mean something?
Am I supposed to feel something?
Am I to believe that you hold the key?
My way wrong and yours right?

I could be wrong here
You could be right
Please forgive me I have sinned -
Not on your life
But that's how you want me
But I'll never fear thee
Why you and not me?
Tell me Holy Man

Is that supposed to mean something?
Am I supposed to feel something?
Am I to believe that you hold the key?
My way wrong and yours right?

You want it?
You need it?
You love it?
You keep it

You want it?
You need it?
You love it?
You keep it

You want me to bow down, lie down, accept it and die
Say what, say what, say what, say what, say why
You want me to fear you, revere you, never question your lies
Say what, say what, say what, say what, say why

If however you like some good rap you simply have to get Greydon Square's The Compton Effect He is from the Rational Response Squad which I'm sure you've heard of.
