Nevertheless, deism is still pretty much the opposite of atheism. He affirms the existence of a god, even though not a personal one.

Lol - depends on your definition of God and/or atheism.

Deism is really recognition of reality/the universe. I don't have a problem with that. I don't think deists worship it though(?).

Furthermore, I don't deny the (very likely) existence of reality/the universe. I do not consider atheism and deism to be mutually exclusive. Modern atheism is lack of a belief in a personal God - it fits well with deism in some respects.

Still, we should honour a mind as great as einstein (though not worship it).
